Aloo Gobi/Potatoe Cauliflower

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup sliced Potatoe
  • 4 Garlic Clover
  • 1 Chilli Green Chilli
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • Salt
  • Pinch turmeric
  • Oil

Direction

  • Add little oil in pan, when heated add cauliflower, potatoe and sal. Cover it and let it cook until little soft.
  • Grind coarse paste of Garlic, Ginger, Chilli and turmeric powder.
  • Add this paste to pan and let it cook until Potatoe and cauliflower is done.

Garnish with coriander and serve with Hot Chapatti!

Guacamole

Ingredients 

  • 2 avocados
  • 5 tbsp finely chopped cilantro,
  • 2 minced garlic cloves,
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1.5 cup fresh small chunks pineapple,
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion,
  • 1/4 cup chopped red pepper,
  • 1/4 cup diced tomato,
  • 1 tsp cumin * (you don’t have to, but I think it’s great to add as it give it a little indian taste)

Directions 

  • Peel avocado and place in medium serving bowl, scooping out all of it with a teaspoon.
  • Mash avocado with fork, allowing some chunks to remain. Stir longer if you want a smoother dip.
  • Add cilantro, garlic, onion, tomato, pineapple, red pepper, salt and mix well.
  • Add olive oil and pepper to taste.
  • Mix again.
 
Enjoy with Nachos.
